Catching up
Well, I’ve not posted much lately, but I really want to get back to it.
I was forced to tend to this blog because the amount of comments on one of my post’s has become really large, well large enough to make the page take a while to load, so I added this very nifty WP plugin called Paged Comments. I highly suggest this, very very handy.
I have been messing around here and there with Flex/AS3 and FisixEngine. But not nearly as much as I would like. I had a brother that passed away in October, and so I haven’t been very social, and haven’t been posted enough!
I promise to start posting more!! Honest!! ![]()

Steve - very sorry to hear about your brother. That is sad news. Thanks for the link to the Paged Comments - not that I need it now, but maybe soon. Take care, and keep posting.

Steve, in fact htaccess DOES work.
My syntax was a bot off, which is why I was getting issues.
# 301 Permanent Redirects
Redirect 301 /body-buddy http://totalphysiqueonline.com/anatomy-chart/
Redirect 301 /body-buddy/ http://totalphysiqueonline.com/anatomy-chart/
Works.

Steve, I hate to bother you, but I have a real crisis on my hands. I was running into a huge problem of a popular web page on my WP blog that has been deleted and replaced. I studied your post on redirects, but I was unable to find a resolution to my problem there. Here is in a nutshell the issue:
I had a web page that apparently got indexed very well:
http://totalphysiqueonline.com/body-buddy/
(slash important)
was deleted and replaced with
http://totalphysiqueonline.com/anatomy-chart
What strategy could I use to make sure people no longer have access to totalphysiqueonline.com/body-buddy and instead get to the right page?
I suppose the better question is this:
Since htaccess won’t work (and it wont), PHP seems the only other solution…but even that seems frought with futility because there is no body-buddy page anymore.
Can you email me so that we could work out a solution if there is one?
Thanks
